Financials

Fiscal Year 2008 saw a steady growth in revenue with increases in every area — from small gifts to corporate donations to the annual Benefit.
In these challenging times, all of us at the Glaucoma Research Foundation are especially grateful to our donors, both new and longstanding, for your commitment to fulfilling our mission. Together, we are indeed speeding the cure and spreading the word.
85% of budget to research and education programs.

We are committed to maintaining efficient operations that allow 85 cents of every dollar raised to go to research and patient education programs. For years, GRF has operated within a balanced budget, with 85% of our operating budget going to our programs, and 15% to administration and fundraising.
This historically demonstrated prudence with funds has earned GRF the highest awards from the nation’s leading and toughest monitors of non-profit giving:
- Charity Navigator has awarded GRF its highest Four Star ranking;
- Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance has certified that GRF meets its 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
The Glaucoma Research Foundation is a national non-profit organization, receiving no government funding. The vital work of GRF depends almost solely on the contributions of individuals like you. Thank you for your support.
